My dream job.

Hello everyone. 

Truth be told, I found it difficult to answer these questions since I had not really thought about this before, as I am afraid to think about an uncertain future and to create expectations... and I still do not know very well what to answer.

I think I imagine myself practicing as an educator. I would like it to be in a kindergarten with a work team that shares my same point of view regarding childhood and how to educate with it, that is based on respect and a lot of affection among peers and within the educational team. For this I think it takes a lot of patience, self-knowledge and self-criticism as well, learn from attentive listening to the others, especially to the child, in order to share meaningful experiences.

Unfortunately the salary of an educator in my opinion is not enough for the work that one does on a day-to-day basis. This is due to the little recognition that educators have and the work they do with children, and in turn with society.

I am studying this career at the University of Chile because I believe that the university has a critical look, which I consider important for training as a teaching professional, and having the facility to develop in different contexts.

I would like to be able to specialize in the emotional education of children, and for them to know how to know these emotions and recognize them in themselves.
