Hello classmates and teacher, after so long we meet again in blogs haha I hope you are well.
In this blog we have to talk about changes that i would make to my study progam, but before I mention that, I will tell you about the program and career.
I am studying early childhood education in the faculty of social sciences at the University of Chile, about the infrastructure I think is not bad, almost we had a new building with better conditions, however, it does not take away that there are many things to improve throughout the faculty, like the libraries, casinos and recreation spaces.
About the curriculum and duration of the career, this lasts 4 years of bachelor's degree and 1 of title, in which we have various branches on childhood and education, like psychomotricity, child care, history of education, creativity and children's expressions, language and communication, etc. We also have subjects of more theory and curriculum, like educational projects, research methodology and curriculum management.
I really like the way he has taken the career and the different subjects, always with a critical look and with a lot of space for personal and group reflection. However I would like the methods to be much more practical than theoretical, to provide more tools for practice, occupy different spaces to the classroom, perhaps more outings to different places that can be used with a pedagogical perspective always thought about the development and learning of children.
And that's it for today, thanks for reading :)
hello! I very much agree that sometimes the theoretical exceeds the practical. I love your idea of adding more educational outings, it would be fantastic!
